forgetting a national hero

We celebrate second October as Gandhi jayanthi.UN has declared this day as an international non violence day. It's really a great thing to celebrate an Indian birth day in international level. Its really an honour to all the Indians.

We Indians also celebrate the hero's birth day saying "Mahatma Gandhi ki jai". All the so called successors of him say that the path he followed the way he lived has inspired them(even after committing all the illegal things). Even the life history of Gandhi gave a new subject to bollywood and tollywood movies which created records at box office.

Now lets consider the case of another birth day boy.He is also a well known person in the Indian history.But we forgot this great man. The first is the symbol of non violence.The later is the symbol of simplicity and responsibility. Second October is the birth day of Lal Bahadur Shastri.The third Prime Minister of Independent India. The man who swam the river Ganga for his studies. The man who took the responsibility for a train accident in Tamil Nadu and resigned to his ministry. The man who raised the slogan "जय जवान जय किसान". The man who fought with Pakistan and showed the power of India was also born on the same day.

But many of us celebrate the birth day of Gandhi. But only few knew that Shastri was also born on the same day.We are forgetting our national leaders.

All the people those who celebrate Gandhi jayanthi please remember that even Shastri ji was also born on the same day.
